What is a house clearance and how does it work?
A house clearance is the emptying of a property of all furniture, appliances and sometimes carpets and other floor coverings. Depending on the job, this may also include outbuildings, garages, cellars and lofts.
Most of our property clearance work is due to bereavement or elderly relatives having to go into residential care.
Are you looking for a house clearance company near you?
Clear This Ltd (trading as Lancashire House Clearance) have our head office in Chorley, Lancashire with a base in Blackpool on The Fylde. We only serve a 35 mile radius of our bases. Due to our location this covers most of Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
Choose a Licenced House Clearance Company
Clear This Ltd are licenced by the environment agency as upper tier waste carriers. This means we can legally remove anything from your property including junk. You will have fulfilled your duty of care in disposing of the contents of the property. If you hired an unlicenced carrier or one with a lower tier licence, you could be prosecuted. If a company or person won’t pay for the correct licence, why would they pay for safe, legal disposal ?
Use Insured Services
When hiring a company to work in a property you are dealing with, ask yourself who is liable for any damage? Who will foot the bill if something goes wrong ? Lancashire House Clearance are covered for any damage caused by our staff carrying out work for you. Unfortunately we couldn’t tell you how fast our insurers pay out as we have not had to make a claim to date !
